I wanted to do a quick outdoor fall decoration and had seen some really cute pumpkin wreaths at Hobby Lobby. They were just a wee bit to expensive for my taste so I grabbed a couple of bags of mini pumpkins from the grocery and headed home.
I got a wire hanger from the hall closet and bent it into a circle – it’s easier said than done. Especially with a heavier gage wire.
Next I poked the hanger through the mini pumpkins – it took ten pumpkins. Then I secured the hanger to itself and took it outside. It hangs outside the front door to welcome friends and family.

How cute. The itty bitty pumpkins kind of get lost amongst the crowd. This way they can be star of the show. Great idea.

This is seriously the cutest idea! I went and bought 10 mini pumpkins today so I can make this!! I just wanted to know, did you take all the gunk out of the pumpkins first so they were lighter in weight and so you could stick the wire through? Or did you just stick the wire through the whole pumpkin, stuff inside and all?! I'd love your input on this :) You can email me back or respond to this comment. Thanks so much!!
