M is for music, muffins, memories, marriage, meatloaf, Mustangs (the car), Merlot. More importantly M is for mom and Maloney. I have several M’s throughout the house, with one of my favorite being the one I made with jute twine. I recently finished a new one and it's a close second – I loves me some glitter.
I started by asking Mr. Manly Man to cut me out a fancy M. He did an amazing job and didn’t complain at all. He's got some decent amazing scroll saw skills and the patience needed to do stuff like this.
Next it got a couple of coats of blue paint (that matches my bathroom ceiling) and some fine white glitter. When the paint was dry, I shook off the excess glitter and decided that it looks great. Glitter is kind of hard to photograph - it looks so much better in person.
I think Mr. Manly Man may get to practice cutting out some more letters in the near future. And I need to buy more glitter!

That's gorgeous! :) That blue paint and glitter are just right. Tell your hubby that I think he's awesome. Isn't it great when you have a man in the house that you can ask for something and they just make it just the way you want? (Mine's currently working on a prop for my eldests birthday party - and I'm loving it!) :)
