Skull Photo Frame

Do you have teenagers?  I do, two of them, both girls.  My older girl is into basketball, art, photography. And she likes skulls.  Not the pirate kind. I’ve had some fabric for a while and am supposed to make her some curtains, I just haven’t been motivated enough to get it done.  I did however get on the ball and made her a picture frame.

I started with an inexpensive wooden frame

I used Modge Podge to adhere the fabric to the frame

When dry I cut an “x” in the photo area and folded the fabric back and secured.

I then cut the corners and folded over the fabric and secured.

Here’s the result

  1. LOVE IT!!! We are a family of skaters and we do love our skulls! Thanks for the great tip of cutting an x and doing the foldover. Guess I"m too much of an idiot to figure that out on my own, so thank goodness for bloggy friends who share their know how! jules from bles-id

  3. So, so cool! My daughter's are 6 and 9, but already have a bit of a taste for teen styles! I know they'd both flip for these stylish frames!

  19. Great tip about the "x" in the middle. I would've never thought of that, and then wondered why my frame turned out crappy - lol.

I featured you over at the Screaming Sardine.

    Cheers,
    Tracy
